Hostas are one of the best foliage plants for light to medium shade and are deservedly popular. This variety, Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans' has a beautiful smokey green leaves with deep veins that gives them a corrugated look. White flowers bloom in July and August. It is supplied as an established plant in a 12cm diameter pot, ready to plant at any time of year. Simply dig a hole, place the root-ball in it with the leaves all above the surface then back-fill with soil, firm down and and water well. You can buy one, two or three plants with this order.
