Hostas are one of the best foliage plants for light to medium shade and are deservedly popular. They are resilient and easy-to-grow plants, available in a wide range of leaf colours, sizes and shapes. This variety Hosta 'Gold Standard' has large heart-shaped green leaves, turning gold with dark-green narrow margins. It is supplied as an established plant, in a 12cm diameter pot ready to be planted at any time of year. You can buy one, two or three plants with this order. To plant, simply dig a hole, place the root in it with the leaves just showing above the surface, cover with soil, firm down and water.
