The effect of these white crocus in the winter garden is remarkable. Their smooth, goblet shaped heads look so delicate yet they are the toughest of little flowers. The naturalise and spread in to clumps so they can be seen from quite a distance against a dark grassy background. Even in patchy snow they look special, dabbing the whole winter scene with crystal white. Dig a hole about 10 cm deep, put in the bulbs, cover with soil and water. Nature will do the rest!
