Melica ciliata, also know as Silky Spike Melic has silky silver-grey flowers which contrast beautifully with the fine grey-green foliage. You can use them as part of a landscape design, to contrast with hard edges, like terraces, decking and paving. The softness is a visual treat but it's also lovely to touch. We sell them as young transplants for you to grow on.
