Scabiosa caucasica or Pincushion, a white variety producing pretty flower heads in the first year if planted early. The shape of the flower resembles a pincushion, hence the common name. They often bloom throughout the whole summer, lasting well into autumn and are also very attractive to bees and butterflies. Our Scabiosa plants are supplied as 2cm dia plugs. You can order thee, five or six from us, you get better value the more you order. Dig a small hole, put the transplant with the roots downward in the ground and press soil around it then water well.
