Phlox are a pretty cottage-garden flower. These mixed ones are perfect for uplifting a sunny patch of your garden in summer, and they will tolerate a bit of shade from a wall or fence, they like the soil to be a bit damp. Chopping them back every year in May can also help them become bushy and flower well. You can get three, five or six small plants (plugs) with this order. Just dig a small hole, put the little root-ball in and cover with soil, then firm down and water well.
