This 'Maris Bard' is a first early crop variety. Ready to lift early in the season, heavy cropping and delicious. Takes about 15 weeks, so if you plant in Feb/March, harvest in May/June. Ready to dig up when the leaves start to turn yellow. Great to grow on your allotment or vegetable patch. Place the seed potatoes into 10cm (4") deep trenches and back-fill the soil to refill the trenches. When shoots reach 20cm (8"), mound up soil around the shoots leaving just a few cm showing. Repeat this process after a further 3 weeks. You will get a lovely crop of tasty potatoes. One kilogram is approx 11 seed potatoes and will yield about ten kilograms of eating potatoes.
