Maris Peer' is a second early crop variety of potato. It takes about 15 weeks to harvest from planting and they are ready to dig up when the leaves start to turn yellow. Great to grow on your allotment or vegetable patch. Place the seed potatoes into 10 cm (4") deep trenches and back-fill the soil. When shoots reach 20 cm (8") mound up soil around the shoots leaving just a few cm showing. Repeat this process after a further 3 weeks. You will get a lovely crop of tasty potatoes. One kilogram is approx 32 seed potatoes and will yield about ten kilograms of eating potatoes. You can buy one to five kilograms with this order.
