Charlotte is a second early crop variety. Plant in March/April, harvest in June/July. It takes about 15 weeks to harvest from planting, ready to dig up when the leaves start to turn yellow. Great to grow on your allotment or vegetable patch. Place the seed potatoes into 10cm (4") deep trenches and backfill the soil to refill the trenches. When shoots reach 20cm (8"), mound up soil around the shoots leaving just a few cm showing. Repeat this process after a further 3 weeks. You will get a lovely crop of tasty potatoes. One kilogram (approx 11 seed potatoes) will yield about 11 kilograms of eating potatoes.
