Pretty purple flowering plant with a vivid appearance, carpeting the edges of the garden in spring. Aubretia can also grow in the crevasses of walls, making a cascading effect. These are sold in trays of six, for you to plant yourself. Just push out the plants from the tray, dig a series little holes about 10 cm square and put a plant in each, then firm the soil around the roots and water. Please note; this is a particularly delicate plant when it is in the flowering stage so postage can crumple the leaves and flowers, but the roots are very tough and it will come back well, especially next year. You can buy two or three plants with this order.
