Winter-flowering Cherry Tree or Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis Rosea' sometimes called Spring Cherry, Higan Cherry or Rosebud Cherry. It is a small deciduous flowering tree originating in Japan and sought after for it's pretty pink blossom during January when the branches are otherwise bare. The autumn foliage is also very attractive. We supply them one metre tall, with a good root system, bound up in hessian to protect from the frost. The root-ball is about 30cm diameter. Just dig a hole deep enough to put the entire root-ball in, remove the hessian and place the root-ball in the hole with the tree nice and straight, cover with soil and then firm down and water.
