Locating us on a Historic Map
Browsing old maps of Cambridge. The constant is always Parkers' Piece and for about the last 300 years our shop would have been just near the south western tip of it in Lensfield Road. The park is famous because, for one thing, the rules of football were first devised there. Our shop is near a place called The Oak Bistro, an old Coaching Inn, named after the oak tree that at the crossroads nearby. Horses were tethered outside whilst the owners came in for a drink or a nights' lodgings.
