This species of aquatic plant, Acorus calamus varigatus produces handsome green and white sword-shaped leaves making an attractive living feature. To plant, place a basket with the plant inside, 40 cm deep in the water, making sure that the basket is completely submerged. It will grow up to 120 cm in height.
