Dahlia 'Vino' produces pompon flowers in wine-coloured shades. Supplied as tubers to plant yourself, you can buy two, three or five, getting better value the more you order. They can be lifted and kept dry in a shed over winter when they can also be divided, provided each division has a viable bud. Or take a chance in milder parts of the UK and leave them in the ground, they will frequently survive to the next year for a bigger and brighter display.
