Also called Hardy Gloxinia. This variety has attractive pink flowers, on stems above the leafy foliage. Grows best in moist but well drained soil. Plant is supplied as a tuber to grow yourself. They grow well in tubs but if planting directly in the ground, dig a hole about 30cm deep, put the tuber in and cover with soil.
