Hardy Banana plant is a half-hardy perennial that loses its leaves in winter when grown outdoors. Common practice is to cut the leaves and spread them over the root crown to protect it from the cold weather until new leaves start to emerge in spring. This is supplied established in a 2 litre pot. Buy in leaf or later during the dormant season when you will just get the root ball. You can buy one, two or three plants with this order.
