Hostas are one of the best foliage plants for light to medium shade. They are available in a wide range of leaf colours. This variety Hosta 'Big Daddy' has big, dusty-green leaves. Provided as sections of bare roots, they do not come in a pot or container but are wrapped up in a bag for protection. You can buy one, two or three with this order. To plant, simply dig a hole, place the root in it with the bud just showing above the surface, cover with soil, firm down and water.
