Hostas are one of the best foliage plants for light to medium shade and are deservedly popular. They are resilient and easy-to-grow, available in a wide range of leaf colours and shapes. This variety Hosta 'Night Before Christmas' has a central splash of white in green wavy leaves and lilac flowers in July and August. it will grow to about 60 cm height and prefers semi-shade in moist, well-drained soil. We sell it in a 12 cm diameter pot, ready to be planted at any time of year. Simply dig a hole about 15 cm deep, place the hosta root-ball in it, back-fill with soil, firm down and water well.
