Bletilla striata forms a clump of ribbed, sword-shaped leaves, with erect stems bearing several pink, fragrant orchid-shaped flowers, to 5 cm wide, opening in spring and early summer. Supplied at budding sections of bare-root for you to plant yourself. You get one with this order. Just dig a hole, place the root in with the bud facing up then back-fill with soil, then firm down and water well.
