These are small 'botanical' tulips, selected at random from the best bulbs available at the time of year. Low-growing with delicate flowers, they are close cousins to native tulips and often more resistant to pests and diseases. Varieties may include Tulip tarda, clusiana var. chrysantha, humilis 'Red Beauty', 'Little Beauty' etc. Plant them straightaway, about twenty centimetres depth for a wonderful display in spring. Just dig a hole about 20 cm deep, put in the bulbs, cover with soil then firm down and water well. You can choose ten, fifteen or twenty bulbs with this order.
