This is the closest we have to the original native tulip, from which all other tulips have been bred since the 1590. A pretty yellow flower, very hardy, that grows from a bulb and will come back every year. Only about 12 cm tall, so lovely and delicate and well located in a wild area of the garden, to attract insects like nectar gathering bees in early spring. You can get ten, twenty or thirty bulbs with this order. Just dig a little hole about 10 cm deep, put the bulbs in and cover with soil then firm down and water.
