The variety of asparagus 'Eclipse' will provide thick spears on quite young plants and is said to be a high yielding. We supply the root crowns when they are three years old to plant yourself and we recommend not to crop the asparagus for the first year to allow the plant to establish. Simply dig a hole or furrow 20 cm deep, place the crown in the hole and cover with soil and water well. You can order one, two, three or five crowns with this order.
