Astilbe is a perennial plant, with soft flowers. It prefers light to moderate shade as well as soils that provide good moisture. You get nine budding root sections with this order, selected at random from the best stock available at the time of your order. These can be white, red or pink. Plant them about 15 centimetres below the ground with the little buds pointing up or just above the surface if possible.
