King Edward is a main crop variety of potato. Plant them around April, harvest them around August. It takes about 15 weeks to harvest from planting and they are ready to dig up when the leaves start to turn yellow. Great to grow on your allotment or vegetable patch. Place the seed potatoes into 10cm (4 inch) deep trenches and backfill the soil to refill the trenches. When shoots reach 20cm (8 inch), mound up soil around the shoots leaving just a few cm showing. Repeat this process after a further 3 weeks. You will get a lovely crop of tasty potatoes. You can buy one to five kilograms of seed potatoes with this order. One kilogram is approx 32 seed potatoes and will yield about thirty kilograms of eating potatoes.
