Dahlia 'Belle of Barmera' produces giant decorative flowers in shades or orange and pink. Supplied as tubers to plant yourself, you can buy two, three or five, getting better value the more you order. They can be lifted and kept dry in a shed over winter when they can also be divided, provided each division has a viable bud. Or take a chance in milder parts of the UK and leave them in the ground, they will frequently survive to the next year for a bigger and brighter display.
