Salvia 'Amistaad' has long stems of delicate deep-purple flowers in summer. It only comes back the next year if kept out of very cold temperatures by moving or mulching the plant but the beautiful, long-lived flowers go on right until the very end of summer. You can buy one or two plants with this order. Just make a hole in the soil and place the root-ball in it, cover with soil then firm down and water well.
