Black Mulberry is a spreading tree with dark green leaves, velvety underneath. Cup-shaped green flowers followed by green fruit, ripening to red and then dark purple. Edible fruit. Flowers May to June. Supplied as a well established bush about 60 cm in height with a good root system, in a 5 litre pot. Just dig a hole deep enough to put the entire root-ball in, remove the pot and place the root-ball in the hole with the main stem nice and straight, back-fill with soil then firm down and water well.
