This is a summer-flowering perennial with strong, woody stems and purple flowers. Supplied as 'bare roots', meaning it does not come in a pot or container but as budding sections of bare-root ready to plant, ideally in the dormant season. Simply dig a hole, place the roots in it, back-fill with soil then firm down and water well. You can buy one, two or three with this order.
