Hostas are one of the best foliage plants for light to medium shade. This variety Hosta 'Wide Brim' has a beautiful gold and green variegated leaves. Supplied as sections of bare roots, meaning they do not come in a pot or container but are wrapped up in a bag for protection. You plant the root sections yourself in the garden. Simply dig a hole, place the hosta root in it with the bud just showing above the surface, cover the roots with soil, firm over and water. You can buy one, two or three root sections with this order.
