These are small 'botanical' tulips, selected at random from the best bulbs available at the time of year. Low-growing with delicate flowers, they are close cousins to native tulips and as a result, often more resistant to pests and diseases. Varieties may include Tulip tarda, clusiana var. chrysantha, humilis 'Red Beauty', 'Little Beauty' etc. Plant them straightaway, about twenty centimetres depth for a wonderful display this spring. Just dig a hole about 20 cm deep, put in the bulbs, cover with soil then firm down and water well. You can choose ten, fifteen or twenty bulbs with this order.
