One of the loveliest Alliums around. It is large, with a head of purple petals, creating a striking shape in the garden. Can be used for flower arranging with great effect. Very sought after in the autumn for planting late in the season and then will flower in spring. Posts well and keeps in good condition. About the size of a small apple, each bulb. Just dig a small hole and place the bulb in the ground then cover with soil and water. Nature will do the rest. Flowers every year.
