A tropical plant, Voodoo Lily is an aroid, with an exotic flower structure consisting of a central spike called a spadix, surrounded by a modified leaf called a spathe. Beautiful but foul smelling and harmful if eaten. Supplied as an established plant, it is also half hardy, meaning it withers away in winter and grows back if protected from the coldest weather. Just dig a hole about fifteen centimetres and place the root-ball in then cover with soil, firm it down and water well. You can buy one, two or three plants with this order.
